CoWineCo's 2009 Thanksgiving Picks Since you're busy trying to figure out how to best fit your cider-brined turkey into that inverted Pilgrim's hat while one kid hangs off one leg and you kick the dog away from the gizzards with the other, why not leave the wine pairings to us? We're not afraid. Pelt us with your wildest and weirdest Thanksgiving recipes and we will pair a wine that will make them sing...literally. It's truly a sight to behold...singing food and all.

*** Pixies and Robots
We're proud to officially announce the work of Candace Metzger up on our walls. Candace's studio was actually in our current location before we turned it into a wine store. When we were in the middle of demolition we found some of her gorgeous sketches on the sheetrock way back from when she and her sister built the space out. We've actually sold much of her work already but many of the pieces are prints and some of the originals that have sold are being replaced by brand new pieces for the opening. Which brings me to the important info...
Candace Metzger Art Opening This Saturday, November 14th 4 - 6pm Affordable wines by-the-glass / complimentary Auntie Em's Cheeses

*** Welcome to the 3rd intallment of "WINE PARAPHERNALIA THAT MAKES US UNCOMFORTABLE AND/OR SCARED" (or W.P.T.M.U.U.A.O.S. for short).
We're not sure if the wine holder above is horrible, or completely and totally rocks. Anubis is an Egyptian god associated with the afterlife, so maybe it's a combination wine holder/urn. If so, A+ on practicality....got a small mantle and all...need Grandma's ashes to share space with that Paso Zin....I get it. But outside of the Smithsonian, Indy's classroom, and a New Jersey diner, we're not really sure who's decor fits this one-of-a-kind gem.
