The Beer And Cheese Tasting With Alex Squared

Event occurs every week on Saturday

BEER AND CHEESE TASTING WITH ALEX SQUARED

As exciting as it is to be this close to opening our Echo Park beer store...thiiiiiiiiis close, it's also a little deflating to be asked when, oh, when it will open its doors. Cause we don't have a date yet. We have signage, floors, walls, and furniture in, but no date yet.

BUT...

We're bringing a bit of Sunset Beer Co. to Eagle rock for a

BEER and CHEESE TASTING w/ Sunset Beer Co. Manager, Alex Macy!

Join us TODAY FROM 3-5 PM

for a 5 beer flight paired with artisanal cheeses from Alex Brown of Gourmet Imports.

$18/person

Please RSVP to info@cowineco.com or (323) 478-1985

Here's the lineup:

Uinta Tilted Smile Pilsner paired with Weybridge Cow's Milk Cheese

North Coast La Merle Saison with Etivaz Swiss

Port Brewing Mondo IPA with Torta la Serena

Liefmans Cuvee Brut with a Bavarian Limberger

Port Brewing Old Viscosity with Caveman Oregon Blue

(selections subject to change depending on availabiity)

Alex and Alex are quite a team when it comes to beer and cheese. They're kinda like the A-team but with two fewer people and no guns....or black vans...or helicopters. But they know their cheeses and beers inside and out and nerd out to a level that is remarkably educational, but fun and informal at the same time.

And for you non-beer drinkers - our Saturday winebar is open as usual:

Six wines of varied styles, origins and prices poured by the glass

from $6 to $20 a glass

1:00-11:00pm

$6 White Sangria! Peaches, Mint, Secret Sauce, and Bubbly

or pick a selection off the wall for bottle cost + $5 corkage

We offer cheese plates andyou're welcome to order-in at the bar.

Call for tonight's wine selections.
