And the Award Goes To...

Folks, below we've listed the top selling wines of 2008.  Rumor has it that the Gustavo Thrace will take the crown, but as we all know, "rumors" make an "ass" out of "you" and "me".  Please vote!

So, today is when we all don our best incubus costumes and go around frightening children with rusty chains and bells and smacking women in the ass with branches. Or at least in Austria we do.  Ahhh, the Christmas season is really upon us.  The word Krampus originates from the Old High German word for claw (Krampen). In the Alpine regions the Krampus is represented by an incubus in company of Santa Claus. Traditionally, young men dress up as the Krampus in the first two weeks of December, particularly in the evening of December 5, and roam the streets frightening children (and adults) with rusty chains and bells. In some rural areas the tradition also includes slight birching by the Krampus, especially of young females.
