And the Award Goes To...

Folks, below we've listed the top selling wines of 2008.  Rumor has it that the Gustavo Thrace will take the crown, but as we all know, "rumors" make an "ass" out of "you" and "me".  Please vote!

Most of you know, we celebrate whatever we can get our hands on each Friday.  Today we tip a glass to Italian Astromer Damascene, who on this day in 1662, released his treatise on laughter.  A laugh with a pronounced "ee" vowel sound ("tee-hee," for example) denotes a morose, melancholic disposition. The "eh" sound (as in "heh, heh") is symptomatic of a bilious character and acute indigestion, while the "ah" sound ("ha-ha") suggests a cool, composed, phlegmatic temperament. Most desirable is the deep, throaty "o" laugh ("ho, ho!") emitted by cheerful, confident, sanguine individuals.

So laugh it up, fuzzballs, anyway you like and join us for yet another, Friday tasting.
