CoWineCo. was established in 2006 with a specific principle & vision for customer experience of Wine. The principle was to offer wines that wouldn’t break your bank but blow your mind. The experience, a prior to unheard of idea: making wine fun & furthermore, accessible. Providing a pretension free space, with attentive, personal service, truly outstanding wine & a joyful atmosphere of experience. Well it turns out there was a demand for this service which culminated in a credo we’ve embraced to the present. Wine for Everyone. Today we strive to offer our service & community to a broader audience with CoWineCo.com, featuring news & information about us, but our Web Store & most proudly, CoWine Club.
Our acquisition process is steadfast. We taste a plethora of wines several days a week to keep our racks, wine tastings & bar alive, dynamic, & ever changing. This is why we have a chalk board as opposed to printed menus. Bartenders have license to open any bottle in the store & will often swap bottles in & out as they see fit, to adjust to the night & customer tastes.
Oh yeah, & we have 6 Craft Beers on tap, & about 30 in our Craft Beer & Cider fridge that we would love to pour for you.
Life's a party baby, sip it.
LA Weekly rated us Best Wine Shop That's Also A Bar. Writing Further:
A bright spot on an otherwise sleepy stretch of Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock, Colorado Wine Company has long stood out for its cheeky, unpretentious approach to the guzzling of the grape... a Cheers-like neighborhood bar in a neighborhood that desperately needed one. Most nights of the week — especially Fridays, when they pour a five-wine flight for a mere $15 — you can find a convivial mix of locals and cork dorks from all over town crowding around the rough-hewn hunk of reclaimed wood that serves as both bar and checkout counter. There's a rotating selection of wines by the glass and six beers on tap — but pop a bottle to share with your newfound bar buddies. Corkage is only five bucks — except Wednesdays, when it's free."
"Never before had I seen a wine for line and never before have I waited so happily in line for wine! The service was impeccable as usual..Although busy, everyone was in great spirits. This was probably my favorite part about the whole event because a lot can be said about a staff that is friendly, passionate, and thoughtful. I want to go on a tangent about it, but I’m stopping myself. Just know that I think this place is the tops."

Here is some more amazing praise from Thrillist:
"If you are looking for unique wines to try, look no further than the Colorado Wine Company, an exceptional wine bar in Eagle Rock. The prices here are respectable, the wines are varied, and this bar is widely considered one of the best in Los Angeles for wine lovers."
"Walk into Colorado Wine at any given time and you might hear a Patti Smith or Thelonious Monk record in the background as bartenders pour California reds, Oregon pinots, or more obscure blends. The average bottle at this laid-back spot sets you back only $20, proving you don’t need to break the bank to enjoy good vino."
"For a Wine Country experience without having to leave LA, check out Colorado Wine Company. A wine store that doubles as a cozy wine bar, the Wine Co. is open every night except Monday for by-the-glass selections of sake, champagne and beer from around the world. Buy a plate of cheese to accompany the drinks or feel free to bring in your own food. For a great deal, try the Lazy Sunday Tasting: $12 for 4 wines and gourmet cheeses every Sunday from 1-4pm. The friendly and knowledgeable staff can also help you pick out the perfect bottle of wine to gift for any occasion. Don’t despair if you’re not a high-roller; the Wine Co. specializes in $25-and-under bottles."
"We highly recommend Colorado Wine Company, one of the best wine bars in Los Angeles. It is extremely popular and has good reviews."
